Paul,

I see you are in California. I've posted this in another string this evening so forgive the repetition if you've seen it already, but are you aware that as an HM3 with your background you can challenge the LVN licensure board in California?

I used this program around 2001 and worked as an LVN all through college. You would have to take the NCLEX which I suggest studying for, and the process can take a few months (3+ depending on how quickly you prep for the test) but is well worth the effort. I hope this helps you out on a more long term plan of action and you find the short term assistance you need here. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about the transition or study materials if you are interested at tommyersusn@gmail.com.
Best of Luck,

I will be happy to submit my resume and let us see what we can do. I have my resume in about 8 different companies without an interview. I am running out of money from the VA and need a job fast. I will submit this tonight after 9pm California time. Thank you.
