Without more information, my response is somewhat general and presuming some "classic" problems faced by individuals in your situation. You say "life experiences" and that is often not the best way to present yourself in interviews or on your resume/LinkedIn profile, etc.
Your "most significant accomplishments" from those life experiences demonstrate what you do -- and should not focus on "skills." You have skills but what matters is what you've done with them.
