James, thank you for your service. I suggest starting your career search by self-assessing your personal aptitudes, capabilities, and interests using one or more of the free/low cost tools available on the Internet. My earlier posting lists some of these tools and a Google search will find others.

James, you might want to consider looking at positions with AT&T. This press release from yesterday indicates the company's desire to hire employees for positions specifically in Connecticut - http://www.marketwatch.com/story/att-is-hiring-in-connecticut-2013-11-14?reflink=MW_news_stmp

Can you tell us a little about your interests and skills?
Do you have any ideas on what you want to do next?
Do you have a particular interest working with individuals that happen to have a disability?
I volunteer with an adaptive sports program, and I encourage you to consider finding a program and geting involved as a participant or volunteer.
