Gary,
Are there any local Veterans-oriented programs in your area to which you can reach out?
For example, The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center might be able to help you. http://www.pvmsec.org/ , (215) 923-2600

What dates did you serve?

If you are up for it, earning the CAPM or PMP certification might enhance your resume and job-prospects. Read through this information.

not every employer will ask about your criminal background. Do not let that be the reason you don't apply to any company in any industry. I will tell you to be honest about disclosure but you need to seek legal advice as to how you would declare your criminal background.

Good luck out here!!!

I want to get into management since my degree I am finishing is in Business Administration/Project Management. Then within the next 5 years I would like to start my own business ( landscaping, or janitorial).

Gary,

I would assume it would depend on the job you are applying for. I am sure there are many people who have past indiscretions and found great success in the civilian world. What are your career aspirations?
