Aloha, I am a 20 years AM rating retired Navy veteran as of January this year, interested in guidance for an entry level job opportunity in cyber security. While anticipating this transition and looking for a career change, I completed and received my CS degree from an accredited college just a few months ago. Now I am currently working along with the O2O program (Onward to Opportunity) to help me get the necessary certifications. I prefer employment that will allow me to grow in this field as I acquire the necessary qualifications.
I am located here in Oahu and prefer to stay local but open to consider an overseas location if offered. Your advise is highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Otilio

Nice to "meet" everyone, and I hope all are doing well. I'm planning on starting my transition leave about September next year. I've worked in various leadership and planning/operations roles in the IT field for my entire career, and currently manage communications support requests for my brigade. I'm currently working on completing a Bachelors in Information Systems Security.
Good morning,
I am a retired 20 year veteran that has been working at Raytheon for just over 2 years. I am still fairly recent from transitioning to the civilian sector, so if you have any questions I would love to help!
Hello ACP advisornet team!
I am hungry to excel within the Seattle tech space, finishing over 24 years of combined military service as a commissioned Army Officer and Enlisted Soldier.
After 9/11, I had the honor and privilege to successfully serve in several key leadership positions within Army aviation, including technical program manager of rotary-wing maintenance and operations in high-risk overseas assignments for nearly 9 years. In 2009, I was selected and trained for more diplomatic and executive leadership roles, where I traveled throughout Europe and Eurasia to learn their unique cultures, and understand the political-economic, and military impact of our diplomatic mission from a US embassy perspective within those regions.
I want to use my BS Mechanical Engineering and MA International Security Studies degrees to work Cyber Security and support the Aerospace Defense industry as a program manager.
Would love to connect! Thank you.
Tim
