About Shane

I'm Shane Brown, currently working as a communications support request manager in the Army. In my 24 years of service, I’ve held leadership positions at the team, section, and company levels, providing supervision and guidance to military personnel and civilian contractors. I have experience as an instructor for small groups, operations project planning for small, medium, and large organizations, and have arranged and conducted briefings to senior government and military officials. I honed my leadership skills supporting missions in Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria. I provided IT expertise as a member of an emergency operations center at the White House, where I liaised directly with the Situation Room, FEMA, and the US Secret Service under two administrations. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Systems Security with a focus in Digital Forensics, and am looking forward to the birth of my second grandchild.
