My mother and I, both Air Force Veterans (Lt. RN. and E-6) created a non-profit veteran women's organization a few years ago and we are seeking to recruit military women and men who would love to sit on our board of directors here in the St. Louis, MO area.
We are hoping to gather a few High Ranking military officers and others who are dedicated to helping other veteran women become independent and live out their TRUE dreams. (I will not go into detail here).
Any suggestions?
We have reached out to Washington University's ROTC college program and our veterans organizations and military Sorority's/Fraternity's. (with no luck).

I might use LinkedIn or Facebook from a profession perspective. A number of professions are now using FB like LI to share and discuss professional ideas.
