I’d suggest that you network at the target company. Use LinkedIn to find people already working there and reach out to them. Ask them the process they used to get hired and ask them to help you navigate the hiring process and if they are willing, ask them to submit you as a referral. These activities require much more time on your part but in my opinion would greatly increase your chances for success. Good luck!
Robert,
First you need to be conducting Informational Interviews with the people in the roles you are interested. Find out what the qualifications for the position(s) are and do you meet them. If not what are you missing or if so what do you need to market. I would suggest hooking up with Michael Quinn, signing up for some LinkedIn courses on how to network and also hit the Information Interviewing big time. Hi Robert,
Thank you for reaching out. I have located Tesla's Careers page on their website. I would recommend filtering jobs according to your preferred criteria (job category, job type, state, etc.), which can be found on the left side of the webpage: https://www.tesla.com/careers/search/?country=US
From there, I would start networking with individuals who have existing or prior experience at Tesla in the role you are presently seeking out. You can conduct a quick search on LinkedIn and reach out to those individuals for an informational interview to learn more about the hiring process and their current/previous role.
Best,
Giana
