Hi Garth-

I am retired after a 40 year career in industry where I hired over 100 people. Now I am helping veterans like yourself by helping with their resumes. If you would e-mail me your resume (drjamesfwatson@gmail.com) I would be happy to comment on it.

Hello Garth. When I was consulting, I prepared a fresh resume for each potential new engagement. I recommend that you prepare a basic resume that includes all your jobs, education, training, awards, publications, etc. Then use that resume to prepare a focused resume for each job you apply for, since you will want to tailor your resume to the specific requirements of the position. Like Mark, Eryn, and Philip, I'll be happy to look at a draft resume (and cover letter).

Cheers,
Bill

Hi Garth,
If you have a resume started I would be happy to review and comment. If you need help starting a resume, I'm certain there are useful guidelines on the internet.
Good luck,
Mark

Do you have a draft of your resume to share? You'll need to list your experience (jobs), promotions, awards, education (both military and civilian), and the type of position you're looking for (not necessarily in that order). Other information can be added (such as family, interests, computer or other technical proficiency, etc.), depending on what you want to do. I'd be glad to edit your resume if you either have a draft to work from, or to help you generate a resume if you provide details regarding your background and career goal.
