Resume Advice Needed Please & Thank You

Quick background - I am looking to switch career fields and will be graduating with a B.Sc. in Construction Management in July. I currently have a M.Sc. in Project Management and a B.Sc. in Management [a lot of education, I know..trying to deplete my GI Bill]. Lastly, I have attended and graduated from a 40 hour Project Management Professional (PMP) boot camp.

My family and I are relocating back to an area that is closer to home where my wife and I grew up. Things will line up [almost] perfectly...I'll finish school and we should have completed our relocation by then.

I have found a few construction companies who are hiring Project Engineers (which seems to be the entry level position to becoming a Construction Project Manager). All they really require is a B.Sc. in Construction Management [check...that's on the way]; however, all these job postings seem to geared towards new college graduates.

1. Would I be considered a college graduate since I am looking to switch career fields and majoring in a new major? (the industry I really want to pursue).

2. When it comes to my resume what eduction do I or should I list? All of it? Only what pertains to the listing and then speak to the rest when I get an interview (have to think positive!).

Since I don't have experience in the related field I can't just go in and apply for PM role (which, again, seems to be the common next step in this field). Also, I don't want to be deceptive or perceived as being deceptive because I didn't list my higher education or additional education on my resume.

It's bad enough that my previous work experience on my resume will give an idea of my age and potentially hinder the process.

I've gone back and forth on this and just really don't know. I really appreciate any advice anyone may have.

If you are graduating with your BS in Construction you are a new college graduate.

I highly recommend listing all of your education. I would suggest listing your education current to oldest.

You may wish to look at some of the larger construction companies as many will have website for all their openings. I work for one of the largest Construction Material providers. Check out for an example of a large corporations job search engine or perhaps to find your perfect start to your construction career. Most major construction companies should have a search engine for the openings.

I do not know which sub section of construction you are interested in so unable to give more detailed advice. I also do not know what State, City you are looking to settle in so not able to give you any contacts.

Please let me know if you have any other questions I can assist you with as I am a firm believer that Construction is a wonderful field to be involved in.

It is a good idea to list all of your skills, certifications, education & experience on your Profile & on a Master version of your Resume, IMHO.
You could do job searches using keywords that identify your dream job. Then create a targeted version of your resume for each job that highlights the desired skills mentioned in the job description.
If you complete an undergraduate college degree in a field of study you become a college graduate for that field.
In the targeted resume version, you could provide one liners for experience that you consider not pertinent.
In the targeted resume version, you could list an employment goal objective resembling what is outlined in the particular employment offering.
Certain skills such as Project Management, Programming, Writing, are basic personal tools that you possess that enhance your ability to understand, perform & potentially manage.
Some employment offerings, but not all, consider "entry level" as having some experience.
Some employment offerings, but not all, are for "trainees" with no work experience in the field.
Some employment offerings target "interns", some of which require prior education!
Sometimes what is meant by an "intern" is defined.
There might not be enough candidates to fill available open positions in many industries/locations.
You seem too young to be worried about being mature.
