Does the government buy Anti Bullying prevention program?

Veteran

Christianah Adesida Lorton, VA

I have an Anti Bullying group that I just started, however, I see the need for the program in many of the schools in my community. I am thinking of developing a good program that every school can start with to limit bullying in schools and at home.
But I am not sure if the government will buy such a program.

You should also check the Department of Education and Grants.gov websites. They might have grants available for these types of programs, and you would also be able to point you to resources that can help you apply for these grants. Good luck!

Government, like any prospective "buyer", wants to see the numbers that prove your program is successful. What, specifically, are the goals of you program; your methods; and the results, in verifiable numbers or other proofs? The approach is to think; design; implement; and evaluate your program. Think about how you can address the problem and if it is successful then show it to others and see what happens. No guarantees in life.

I would also learn whats already available (ie. know your competition). For example, there was a highly effective program in use in Topsham Maine, that got widespread attention in New England.
