I have a company that is growing and I am looking for someone with whom is available to work from home, is comfortable with selling over the phone and is familiar with heavy-industry verticals of mining, construction, maritime, oil and gas etc.

It depends on the end user and current need. That said, it could be an immediate sale or more likely an average 60 day sales cycle. I will say that our product set makes cold calling a little easier.
I am familiar with business-to-business direct "cold call" sales. What is your sales cycle?
