Thomas, are you able to relocate? I am the Employment Coordinator for Missouri with H2H (Hero 2 Hired). I have a friend who is the Recruiting Director for the Montgomery, AL Police Department. Montgomery has a population of around 200,000 with 512 police officers. So you can see that they need more officers. If you would like for me to hook you up with LT C.J. Butterbaugh let me know and I will be happy to do so.

Thanks.....Bob

Staff Sergeant, if you want to join the state police, you will have to get accepted into the academy, and successfully complete their training. The local police departments and sheriffs offices are easier to join, but still require some training and POST certification. I assume you will be wanting to go home to Ohio, so you should contact the Ohio State police and request an information packet, or look at the requirements online. Please take advantage of your GI Bill benefits too! You can use them for traditional college and some flight schools too. Helicopter pilots are in demand! Good Luck.
