Is anyone in need of an experienced executive?

Veteran

I have a two decades of senior-level leadership, particularly in the field of healthcare operations. My difficulty is a combination of my age coupled with the narrow field of opportunities available. I'm willing to relocate anywhere in the U.S. to prove what I can do for an organization.

Hi Robert,

Attached is the J&J job posting site. You can select the area you might have interest on the right column. This site update daily. Let me know if you applied any jobs with job #. May be I can track down the hiring manager and do some “ pushing” for you.

Hi Roger,

The good news is that your experience in the field of Healthcare Operations is a field that will see growth due to the aging baby boomer generation. I think opportunities in your field will grow faster than many other industries. I'm sorry I don't have something more specific to help you, but below is a link to the government Bureau of Labor Statistics projection of the "Occupations with the largest projected number of job openings due to growth and replacement needs, 2012 and projected 2022". The top three occupations for growth are healthcare related, which will hopefully give you an edge.

Roger, There are many medical trade associations devoted to different types of medicine, operations of medical facilities, vendors to the medical industry. Almost all have both natonal and branches in each state and all have some type of magazine. Some put on trade shows or exhibit are trade shows that have some relationship to the medical field.

I suggest starting with the yellow pages of the largest city in your area. Go from A through Z and not just to M. You'd be surprised as to how many do something related to the medical field.
