There are many internship programs within finance in NYC.
Start with Veterans on Wall Street and Googling will fill in the blanks. Good luck!

There are a couple of firms that have veteran recruiting programs. I specifically know of Captial One, although they're HQ is in DC. I think JP Morgan but, check some of the sites that list mil friendly companies like the Hiring our Hero's, Military Friendly, etc.
