One idea to understand the requirements for Supply/Logistics Management is to search on various job sites (even a simple Google search will pull up various job sites). Find the job you would be interested in. Don't worry about location; just look at the job description and the required skills and then compare that information to your resume. Does it match? Be sure that info is at the top of your resume. If it doesn't match and you do have the experience, you will need to add it to your resume or look at your experience to align it to the requirement. It depends on your supply / logistics experience in the Army. For example, was it medical logistics? Was it mechanical or munitions... transportation?

I have a friend who does that now for GE. He's the plant manager in Pennsylvania, if that's something you'd be up to try.

Romona, thank you for your service. In the manufacturing field, the term "Integrated Supply Chain ...ISC" is used to describe the sourcing of manufacturing parts and ordering, tracking those parts/supplies. As you search for jobs, using the ISC term might help.

92Ys are unit supply specialist. It deals with property book ie moving, tracking and accounting for property and supplies covering a broad range from paper towels to weapons and vehicles. Using and automated system PBUSE (Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced) I also have training and on hand experience with SAP. You mentionedttransportation. I do have a little experience with transportation however im a very fast learner and adapt to change well. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
