Question about New Horizons Computer Learning Center

Veteran

Cory Stuard Cedar Hill, TN

I have completed my Associates Degree in Network Administration and have been working at a Networking solutions company for 10 months.

I have been visiting with this Certification company (New Horizons) to further my career education. I wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with this company? It is a certification school for Microsoft, Comptia, ect...I am looking to gain a few certs Network/Security +, C.C.N.A., Cisco Interconnecting networking devices 1 and 2, C.E.H., C.I.S.S.P., C.H.F.I., P.M.P.
This list is very broad at the moment, but i have an interests in Security with also an eye toward H.I.P.P.A., P.C.I. compliance. I know my experience is slim but, its the right time for me to complete all the education, that i can and garner the experience afterward.

I appreciate your answers concerning the school (New Horizons), Certs, and anything in between!

No need to read any literature, your resume is the key. What you will find is that each HR employee will have certain likes and dislikes. Tailor your resume to the position your seeking.
Sometimes you might have to accept a lower position and than work your way up. The Railroads love prior military because their structure was set up by former Military Officers.
