These are all good answers. If you like, I can help you. There are a few different ways you can go depending on what appeals to you, but understanding basic data science and statistics, Is one aspect of it, the other is being able to get the information you need from the data. Here, I would strongly recommend a course in python, and Jupyter notebooks. You will be shocked how powerful you can become in a short amount of time. Please direct message me if you like and I can tell you more about what I do at IBM

Hi Ivan, thank you for your service!

I believe that there could be a great future in using data science in the logistics field.

Your message mentions Coursera, I assume you have a subscription. I can recommend the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, which is a very good first step into getting all-round introduction into the Data Science career. The degree of difficulty of the course will depend on your previous exposure to programming.
In addition, you could explore Coursera to find courses in Logistics, like Supply Chain Analytics.

All the best for your future career!

Hi Ivan,

I am a Data Profiling Analyst for UBS. UBS is a financial services company but every day data science becomes more important to the industry. Foremost, having a very strong understanding of Microsoft Excel is the first thing you should be taking courses on. Excel is used by every company in the industry and serves many different purposes. Make sure you have a strong understanding of formulas and macros. Beyond that, try to take courses on specific software like Alteryx and Tableau. These programs are becoming more and more common and employers will take special notice if you have previous experience with these systems. Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or just want to chat!

Best,
Kai
