Recruiters

Veteran

Brandin Lea Austin, TX

I would like to be in contact with some recruiters for project management jobs. I have no issues relocating however central Texas would be fantastic. I am a very experienced project manager currently working on the PMP and Agile/Scrum to obtain my PMI-ACP. Anyone know a few recruiters that are looking for world traveled project managers?

Some advice from a friend that is a PMP in New York City. (She does not have a college degree, but worked her way up and earned the PMP credential. She works as a Project Manager and Consultant in NYC with banks, insurance firms, etc..)

Very interesting! I read through some of the previous questions and there's some great advise/feedback.

Please, please tell him to post his resume on Dice.com and on Monster. I don't submit my resume if I want to work with a recruiter. I post my resume and they call me. Once he gets to know a few recruiters, they'll keep him in mind for any openings they see. Especially if he's willing to relocate!

In the meantime, below is the name of an excellent recruiter in NYC:

Kerrie Tendler
Technical Recruiter
Silver Search, Inc.

Brandin,

I sent a connection request on LinkedIn. I can get you in touch with a PMP recruiter within my network.

Thanks - John

I got this from another Advisor here on ACP-Advisornet.

I've had direct positive feedback about only Orion, but interactions
with the founder of Hirepurpose indicated his heart was in the right place
and he was bound and determined to help veterans find good jobs. One
veteran indicated some headhunters charge veterans up front. If you run
into that I would go elsewhere unless they offer something special.
Good luck and don't hesitate to call/email,

Okay. I am up on all of the job boards mentioned and made even more tweaks to my LinkedIn profile and resume. I have contacted Kerrie and left her a message, in hopes she will call back soon. Thank you Tom for all of the great research.
