Career and Education Transition

Veteran

Nathanael Dimond Cleveland, TN

I have recently returned to college and am looking for career possibilities that are in line with my education and experience. I am trying to find information on possible careers that could benefit from my education and experience. I have a BS in biology and did not have an easy time finding a career in line with my education so I have returned to school and am finishing my last year for a BAS in mechatronics. I have over twenty years of experience including HR, medical, leadership/management, and production/maintenance.

Dear Nathanael.

What is the question?
if it is in "I am trying to find information on possible careers that could benefit from my education and experience". It is too vague.
About, " HR, medical, and production/maintenance.", pick any one of these three, ideally one which you love and learn about and it will lead you to a career

Hi Nathanael,

I suggest some self-reflection about what in your prior experience has brought out the best in you. Do you like daily challenges or do you prefer being the expert? Do you enjoy leading people or do you prefer being an individual contributor? Once you have your preferences mapped out, look for careers that would be a good fit. Thank you for your service!
