I am wondering what certifications anyone would recommend I work on completing for a Training and Development Manager or a HR position.
I appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thanks!

When it comes to HR there seems to be good resources and certification opportunities with the Society for Human Resource Management or SHRM.

Go to www.shrm.org for more info. It's a national hub for HR professionals.

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for your service.
I am not sure if you mean which certifications are most desirable for employers or which are out there to further your career?

I did a quick search and found these certificates at Capella University, an online school: https://www.capella.edu/blogs/cublog/human-resource-management-certifications-for-your-career/

In addition, I know when I worked in the financial world my HR department was always looking for those skilled in the ability to utilize social media platforms to find candidates. So boning up on LinkedIn and other career tools maybe desirable for your resume.

I hope this helped a little.

Scott
