I served in the Navy right after 9/11 after my service I obtained two bachelors degrees; one in Finance and one in Accounting. I worked 3 years at a regional public accounting firm, 3 years at Citi Corp as a senior tax analyst. My then wife left when our daughter was <6 months old giving me sole custody. Due to this I left the Corp world and started a small business for the last 5 years. Ruth is in kindergarten now and I’m trying to get back into the Corp world as a financial analyst or something on the finance side of a corporation.

I have a preliminary resume and cover letter drafted but have not received any follow ups and not sure how to increase my chances of getting interviews. Any help or assistance would be more than appreciated
