With what’s happened, it would be easy to get discouraged. But you only need one company to say yes. First write down your job skills and accomplishments while you were in the army. If you can, get letters of recommendation from your immediate supervisors. What jobs did you have? What were your accomplishments and evaluations?

You have to account for your time since you left the service. Be honest. Bad things happen to everyone. Move on. Chances are many of the companies you reach are going to say no. That’s there loss. Develop a think skin to the word no. Don’t quit. You’re looking for an entry level job. You’re flexible, can work any shift. You only need a chance. When you get it. Do well.
