Resume Streamlining

Veteran

DF Jackson Washington, DC

I need help to have my resume "Streamlined" to look less busy but saying nothing. I have lots of education but have been doing contract work in legal due-diligence. But this has not given me a solid 3-5 or 5-7 years in a specialized, marketable focus. Thus, I have been getting zero interviews.

If there is a well-experienced resume writer, please contact me. I am in the DC area. Thanks

DF-
Thanks for your service! I was a PM for Government Contractors in the DC area and did a lot of my own recruiting, so I know what to look for in a resume and can offer assistance in how to structure it for maximum effectiveness. If you would like to send me your resume in a private message then I would be glad to take a look at it and offer suggestions.

Good Morning, In addition to creating a resume that is tailored to the job and can show results, the most important step is to develop and act on your network. Set up informational interviews to find out about the jobs that are of interest to you and become the face behind the resume.
Good luck.

Hi, Mr. Jackson,
Sounds like you're getting assistance, above. I'd like to tell you that I also have too many jobs on my resume and sometimes I think it looks like Swiss cheese! When I do land interviews, I only say good about past experiences, and I let employers know I am looking for a work "home" where I can stay at least 3 years. Let me know if you'd like me to look at your resume for you.
Best wishes,
Diana

I have helped over 100 people in the past 3 years obtain new positions by helping them create a Top 1% Resume. The "secret" is to show your value to the company, and specifically to the hiring manager. I am willing to help you for free, no strings.

Hi DF,

Thank you for your service, particularly on Memorial Day. I have an article on resumes on my blog http://blog.realworldexperts.com/ and I would also be happy to review your resume. I had spend 25+ years in corporate positions with eight firms across three continents so I can help you tie your story together and make it sound coherent.
