Are there any Human Resources/Admistrative Advisors in the Louisville or Kentucky area that can assist with locating a Job??

Veteran

JALEN TOWNSEND Clarksville, TN

Current US Army Sergeant stationed at Fort Campbell, KY closing in on my contractual ETS in July 2016. I have worked as a Human Resources professional for the past four years. I will be relocating to Louisville where I will be finishing my degree at the University of Louisville. I am in the process of transitioning out of the Army and want to find employment that is suitable for my skills and allows me to be comfortable while finishing up school. Any feedback or assistance would be great.

You may already have done this, search Linked in for the Louisville SHRM group. Connect with a few of the more senior members and ask the same question. Join the SHRM group when you can. Great networking for what you are looking for.
Good Luck

Jalen, If you need your resume reviewed please let me know. My company has also translated Combat Arms positions on guide-on.com if you'd like to check that out.

I work for the US Postal Service out of LOU KY. All our HR positions are stationed out of Raleigh, NC. I would start with USAJOBS.gov - where you can apply for other government jobs to maintain or build on your federal retirement. I agree with the search in Indeed - which is an awesome place to find jobs in the local area. I have seen some fellowship type jobs in USAJOBS.gov - not sure if they had age requirements, though. Thank you for your service and feel free to connect if you need anything. debmiller2000@gmail.com

SIgn up for Indeed.com for that area. Monster.com is also helpful.

Good Luck!
