Wayne, since this is urgent, I recommend that you search www.indeed.com using the keywords:
"cnc immediate"

BTW, can you travel? I found this posting for Houston. It includes per diem and mileage.

HTH,
Liam

PS If you can relocate, that can expand your search a lot.

Wayne, I posted this article a couple of months back. It helps explain what makes a resume actually get noticed.

If your resume doesn't have lots of digits in your job descriptions, then people aren't reading it. (The article touches on why this is so important.)

I used to work for Ryerson, Inc. They are a metals manufacturer/fabricator, and tend to hire people for those types of positions. You might check out their web site. Best wishes in your job search.

Wayne: Two places to look quickly - Indeed.com, and on Google - may show you positions posted on Monster, etc. Also place your resume - if you haven't already on Indeed.com - include an email address for employers to contact you. This way - they may contact you without paying $1 fee to send you an anonymous email and speeds up your review time!

If you haven't updated your LinkedIn account - please do and again - provide an email address that recruiters may view and contact you quickly! Good luck, Deborah Meyer, Anthem, Inc.

Good morning Wayne,

Thank you for your service and for reaching out to the ACP AdvisorNet. I would suggest visiting a job search engine that can help identify opportunities in your area that fit your skills and what you are looking for. For example, I searched Indeed.com for "CNC Machine Operators" in Houston, TX and and multiple job postings came up.

I would also encourage you to visit the community section on ACP AdvisorNet to search for Advisors within manufacturing and your zip code, who may be able to offer additional guidance about how to navigate the job search process within your area of interest.

I hope these suggestions are helpful, Wayne. Thank you again for your service and I wish you the best in job search process.

Best,
Andrea
