I've been out of the military for four years now and having a hard time finding a career with full benefits in my area. What are some of the top paying military-friendly jobs in my area?

Veteran

Steven Hayden Waterville, ME

I am qualified with many skills and an extremely hard worker and have been a proven assett to any job I've worked at. I was a power generation equipment repairer in the military and have been a proven leader at all other jobs. I want a career with full benifits, insurance and 401k plan. I won't settle for minimum wage and know my worth. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, mill work, and more.

Steven,
You may want to contact local electricians to consider a career in this high paying field. I undersand there is a shortage of highly motivated individuals interested in this work.

Good Luck,

Steven,

Are you interested in Federal or Corporate employment? Within the government there is a 0856 Electronics Technical Series, which falls under the 0800 Technical Work in the Engineering and Architecture Group.

There are many career paths within the federal government which may interest you. Please reference the OPM occupational handbook for additional research:

I work as a 0346 Logistics Specialist for DoD, and own my own career services company. I encourage you to play around on www.USAJobs.gov during your career search. More importantly, make sure your resume is formatted correctly for both federal and private sector applications.

If you need additional guidance, feel free to message or email me directly. I may be well positioned to help you.

Thank you for your service. We are here to help!

Warmest Regards,
