Is there a way to get assistance for a Florida Law Enforcement Certification?

Veteran

Jason Pearl Wesley Chapel, FL

I am attempting to get my FDLE Certification but i do not have the financial means to pay the remaining 1200 for the 2 week class and the cert test. Is there a way to use the GI bill or some other sort of financial help? I do not want to take a loan but it looks like that is the only way. I have spoken to 3 advisors and the VA and no one can give me a clear and concise answer about the GI bill and the ability to use it.

$1200 seems high; I believe in South Florida area it is $800.
Sponsorship from an Agency may also be an option.
I will message you contact information of someone who should be able to help you.
