I want to start an employment staffing business here in Fayetteville NC, and I want to find out where to get the training with the startup tools if possible.

Each state should has a staffing association. I goggled North Carolina and there is a North Carolina Association of Staffing. This would be a good place to start since they have all the resources necessary to get you started. Good luck.

Welcome to the world of small businesses. It's a great feeling. I found out about an organization called SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business) when I was laid off back in 2009. I attended free and low cost training with them.
They are a non profit and located across the US. Google SCORE for your area and you should be able to find something. Good luck and keep me posted on your success. Networking is a big part of small business ownership. Best regards, Cheryl
Tough to jump into staffing unless you done some, from an employer's point of view, in a civilian role. Would recommend you see how it works from the inside - with an employer - first, so that you can better understand what the employer wants and needs - and get a better sense of what the jobs you will be staffing for really do. Without that "inside" experience, you will only be making assumptions as to employers' priorities.
Hello Christianah. The way I learned the temporary employment agency business was to work in it. I would suggest you work for a year or two at the most aggressive and successful agency in your area and regard it as an apprenticeship. Once you understand pricing, risk management and sales/marketing you should be good to go. The SCORE people certainly offer valuable perspective; they can't, however, teach you the guts of the business: only experience can do that. It seems to me that being paid for the first part of the learning curve is superior to paying for it.
