About Brian
I started in the employment business (as distinct from Human Resources) as a technical recruiter placing degreed mechanical, electrical, design, quality and manufacturing engineers, engineering managers and directors in 1985. I got into the temporary employment business on the manufacturing side in 1993. I went into business for myself in October of 1999 and have been teetering on the brink of extinction ever since. I work alone, so I am variously an interviewer, hiring manager, customer service rep, sales person, bookkeeper and office manager. I think I may be able to contribute some perspective on looking for the right job, interviewing and resume writing and keeping a job. I have interviewed over 12,000 people and hired and employed over 1,000. Additionally, I have a few insights into starting and operating a small business.
