I can't find my birth certificate. I had a vendor's license, but it is now expired, and when I went back to get IRS Clearance they tell me I need two pieces of identification. A have one with the picture, I need another picture ID I can't get it because I can't find my birth certificate. I can't even get a non drivers ID. can somebody tell me how I can get help to get my vendors license back?

Mostly likely the county where you were born has the file. I've sumitted several requests over the years when I've moved, and lost my originals or my children's birth certificates. Look up either Vital Statistics, Vital Records or Birth Records. For a nominal fee, around $20.00 they will mail a certified copy to you.

Contact the jurisdiction and department that issued the original document.. It is most likely a municipality or county near where you were born.
