Good evening, I am a Navy Veteran who has used up all her Post 9/11 Gi Bill benefits to get a Bachelors In Criminal Justice. I am very thankful for the opportunity the military has given to me but unfortunately I am having problems looking for a job in that field and I am currently applying to another school to get a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems. The degree is only a year and a half and I was wondering if there is any kind of scholarships or something of that sort to help me pay for this degree. I would have to get loans because I have used all of my benefits but I have hope there is some kind of help for veterans beside the Gi Bill. I would really appreciate your help.

New York State offers full in state tuition for veterans who served in Afghanistan. There are a few limitations but here's the page if you want to read up on it:

If you live in California and you were deployed anywhere in support of OIF / OEF, you can get a Dorthy K Fisher scholarship: http://www.dkfveterans.com/apply.html for $5000 a year for 4 years. I used it throughout my undergrad and graduate degrees.
Hi Paula
You seem to be on the right track with the addition of IT to Criminal Justice. I am going to assume you asked the school counselors for help. Are you planning to become a local police officer? If so, they may have a tuition reimbursement program and you can get your second degree in the evening. Have you tried some of the Federal law enforcement agencies like ATF, Secret Service, Marshals, etc.? They do have reimbursement programs.
