Check out one of these sales apprenticeship programs. Training is free, after which you are assigned to one of the participating employers as a paid inside sales trainee. If you are successful, your path to a high paying outside sales position can be rapid. Here's one. You can find more on the internet. Nice thing about these is that they tend to be remote. Good luck!

Hi Kannon, the key in a sales position is to understand what type of sales you enjoy. Is it a product, or program? What aspects of your personality do you feel meshes with being in the sales world? Outgoing, independent thinker, self-motivator, team player. I cannot stress this enough. Find what you are passionate about selling, and then break down all aspects of your hard and soft skills to create a vision for your sales career. Feel free to reach out to me, if you need some coaching on this. I have had so many " sales" people as clients. They were wonderful in sales but were aligned with the wrong mission. The difference is amazing, when it came to realigning themselves with the correct product, or program.

Hi there - at&t is always hiring sales people and Georgia is a big market of ours. Check out the opportunities at "" (I know that looks like a weird web address but it works). We are HUGE supporters of hiring military. Lots of different roles that compliment that type of experience and we do on the job training. Anything from retail store sales to corporate staff cyber security specialists.

Also, put down KS2382 as your referral code which is my user ID, it always helps to have an internal reference!

Good evening Kannon:
First, thank you for your service. I would think you would need to determine what type of sales you are interested in. Retail, hospitality, etc. For example, if you feel you would like to give retail sales a try, you might go to a store that awards commission along with a salary. If you like the travel industry, then a hotel sales department might be something you would want to explore. I personally come from a background in banking, and that industry is always looking for people who have that sales oriented drive.

Wishing you much success as you navigate your new career!
