Copyright law issues for showing images of purchased postcards on blog site

Brenda Gearhart Waldorf, MD

I am going to launch a blogging site (with many guest bloggers) that is a “storytelling through postcards” site primarily. The postcards used have been purchased. I need basic legal advice for how I can do this. Can someone advise me on how to find an affordable lawyer to answer very basic questions.

Hi Brenda,
One option is to contact SCORE (senior corps of retired executives), as I've used them for free business legal advice before.

They are often affiliated with your local Small Business Administration office, and there likely is one relatively close to you.

Good Luck with your venture!

Hi Brenda,

Thank you for using ACP AdvisorNet for your questions. A good place to start might be to check out the services offered to veterans through the American Bar Association. They have a directory by location of legal services that can be provided to veterans and military families.

You can find more information about that here:

I hope this helps!
