Im starting a business, Does anyone know where to get free / cheap legal website consultations?

Veteran

Jamie Loner New York, NY

The areas I would like consultation in:
1. What state to form the business in
- My business is Web based so forming an LLC in Nevada or Wyoming seem to have benefits. I live in NY so I also read there are issues opening a bank accounts and still having to register as a Foreign LLC in NY if I do anything that supports operations. Are there any other issues? Is it easy to still set up a bank account?

2. A general legal review of the website concept due to possible privacy issues and how to legally address them.

3. I will need a custom terms of service created for my website.
- Due to the possible privacy issues I would like to make sure that the agreement for use of any information is lawful in all states. I could probably copy / paste from similar sites and then add my own details needed. Then have a formal review after its created. It will also have to address all the different types of users accessing information (advertisers, B2B, B2C, general public).

4. I will need at least one contracts created
- One that will allow my website to be the exclusive receiver of content from specific companies.

If anyone knows where to start or go for either free or cheap legal help, let me know!

Thanks in advance........

Jamie, legal shield is good service where you can actually get connected with live attorney's that you get help from. It's paid on a monthly subscription basics and I think it's like $30-$50 a month. I know a lot of small business owners who use it and like it. Also, I've heard of legal zoom but don't know much about it. Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything to get your venture started because I have a lot of connections who could potentially help.
