Hi Arnaldo,

Looking into non-profits might be a good idea. I know many of them do not appear on the big job search boards like Indeed, Monster etc. It takes a little more leg work to find them and apply for positions but it's worth a shot.

* request a mentor from ACP. Ask to be matched to someone in the Healthcare field, and ideally someone in a role to which you aspire.

* ensure your resume and LinkedIn profile are top-notch. If you ask for advice on this board I am confident you will receive offers of assistance

* include the URL for your LinkedIn profile on your profile page

* consider what training, education and certifications you need to reach your goals

* practice and master your "elevator pitch"

* seek out and join industry groups, both local groups in your area and groups on LinkedIn

* give back and help other Veterans, non-profits, etc.
