I am 6 months away from transitioning out of the military. Is it too early to apply for jobs? I am also signed up through for the DOD Skillbridge Program. Has there been anyone that has had success with it?

Good morning Anthony,

First, thank you for your dedicated service to America.

I am a writer and editor and excel in tightening up words, which is crucial to a good resume. I would be happy to look over your resume and offer editing to help it along.

Much success,
Suzanne Molino Singleton

Congratulations on the upcoming transition! Now is the perfect time to apply for jobs. Please consider using the first interviews as practice for the job you really want. Army boards and meet and greats are different from job interviews, it helps to get all the mistakes out of your system with jobs you can afford to NOT have in the long run.

I did not use the for jobs. Being that you are a SFC; I would recommend using indeed, usajobs, linkedin, and state/corporate websites to apply for manager/director positions. I have noted that many enlisted troops undervalue and undersell themselves.
