Veteran

DEVEYE HADEMEON San Antonio, TX

I am planning to retire next year with my terminal leaves starting beginning of June 2025. As we're getting close, I am anticipating in starting my "skillbridge" time next January or February. I am interested in BP and Delta Airline. I need anyone to help with advices about how to enroll with any of these companies.

Thank you.

Hi Deveye, thank you for your question! You can go to https://skillbridge.osd.mil/ to search for opportunities with specific companies within the "Partner" field. Delta does have one opportunity open currently, and you can reach out to their listed point of contact with further inquiries. If you would like to start a SkillBridge internship with a company that is not currently partnered with SkillBridge, such as bp, that company would need to get prior approval through the Department of Defense as described here: https://skillbridge.osd.mil/faq.htm.

For more information about Veteran careers at bp, check out our previous webinar with the company here: https://www.acp-usa.org/news/event/acp-presents-your-military-skills-matter-bp. You may find some useful points of contact through the webinar as well.

If you have more specific questions and would like to speak with an ACP Operations Associate, please call us at (212) 752-0700, or you can apply to participate in our Mentoring Program at the following link: https://www.acp-usa.org/mentoring-program/veteran-application.
