What are ways to network in the venture capital world while on active duty ?

Veteran

Marcos Ruvalcaba Carlsbad, CA

I'm looking at starting an equity funding platform and curious if anyone out there knows where some good places to network may be while serving on active duty. Many of you I'm sure know that while on active duty, getting away from work is super tough, especially being overseas. Any suggestions, methods, TTPs etc are welcomed. Thank you

Marcos,
I'm not up on Venture Capital start up but networking via Marine Corps Executive Association (MEA), MOAA and MCA&F should link you into some Marines that can point you to the right folks.

Hi Marcos,

Thank you for your question. Have you been able to take a look at the community section on ACP AdvisorNet? The community section is a great place to network with professionals with various industry background. You can send them direct messages and see if they are able to ask your questions. We have lots of Advisors, and even fellow Veterans, with background in finance that should be able to help!

I hope this helps. Thank you for your service!

Best,
Taylor
