Thank you for your question! I don't have any experience using Shopify and I honestly didn't know what it was right off the bat. However, I do have some friends that use Etsy and from what I can tell that are somewhat similar. Their Etsy sights were relatively simple to setup and they both didn't have much computer savvy.
