When dealing with Logo TradeMark, should I hire an attorney?

I've incorporated a month ago for my nonprofit organization.
I would appreciate the most efficient way to Trade Mark for my logo.

This is fairly simple to do yourself using the USPTO TESS system. I have two registered trademarks and I did not need the assistance of an attorney. I can walk you though the process if you'd like. Here's a good place to start: https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-application-process/search-trademark-database

Check out LegalZoom. They have streamlined and affordable packages for things like trademark and copyright registration.

Kevin, congrats on incorporating! I can't comment on the exact process, but I would suggest doing some due diligence before you hire an attorney so that you don't end up with a large bill. I have found upcounsel to be a good resource since you can get a free consult, and then create a custom job, and have attorneys send you quotes. PM if you are interested - I might have some unused credit with upcounsel..

Kevin,

It's super simple. Go to https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-application-process/search-trademark-database and read about the process. I've done 3 myself, it can be a long and laborious process but there is no need to hire a Lawyer.

Now, be careful. The freedom if information act allows trolls to see all your information. They will call, email, text and use every form of communications to reach you. They will want you to buy their service and frankly, its a total waste of your money. Do it yourself.
