Hello to all my fellow Veterans and the awesome Advisors who support us!
One of the most difficult parts of my transition from the Marines into the Civilian Sector is developing a network of professionals who I can call on, learn from, and possibly even get a few referrals from on the path to beginning my career in Project Management. What makes this even more challenging is that I am not in the Denver area currently (still in New Orleans until late August) and cannot physically attend meet-ups, career fairs, and ask to 'meet for coffee' with professionals who will hopefully one day become my peers and leaders.
Therefore, I am asking for your assistance in providing advice on how to go about developing my network, and to those of you in the Denver area, if you would be willing to help me out with introductions and referrals to other professionals in the area who are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Marine Corps veteran who will can provide unlimited potential and value to their organization.
In advance, I am thanking each and every one of you for your assistance and commitment to helping veterans like myself and the rest of us in this program. Your dedication to those who have served this country with honor and distinction is more than commendable, it is the highest form of praise and thanks we could receive. Thank you.

Hi Frank....Check these links out if you already haven't. The other advice would be to volunteer with a couple of non-profits where you have some emotional connection....great way to meet "doers" who are connected to business opps you might have interest in. Networking is a numbers game....be persistent! Best of luck...John
