Veteran

Thomas Knowles Ashburn, VA

Hello ACP community! I'm planning to relocate to Washington state and attempting to expand my network throughout the area. Anyone amongst the ACP community located in the greater Seattle area? Thanks!

Hi, Thomas,

Your heading states "Washington State." I'm over on the "Spokane side," if you, or anyone else is interested in networking with people on the "east side." [=

Currently, I work with an investment firm. The areas of business that I work in is buying notes--in full or part--of people who use seller financing in selling their homes or businesses, and the same for those with structured settlements.

There are associates in the firm I work with, who work with businesses--small, medium, and large--that need factoring, buying accounts receivable, merchant cash advances, and other commercial financing.

Feel free to send me a PM! ;]

Hello Lt Col Knowles!

I know of an Army Veteran by the name of Kurt Erickson who I'm sure would be happy to network with you. He is very active in the community in Washington, so much so that he's decided to run for Pierce County Council.

I see that you two also have similar interests as far as the outdoors. Perhaps he could even provide some suggestions on a few good places to hike or camp.

Here is his information if you would like to reach out:

Good luck on your relocation. Washington is a beautiful state. I hope to get back up that way myself for a visit in the near future.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for your support!

Bill, I spent my first four years in the Marines serving as a field radio operator and would definitely be interested to learn more about AT&T and enjoying a cup of great PNW coffee upon arrival in the area!:) Would you mind if I followed up with you via email or phone?

John, I'm definitely interested in learning more about any career transition/coaching feedback you'd be willing to offer. I can be reached at Phone: 210-260-7736 or via email: 3ctcscc@gmail.com. My schedule is pretty flexible this week, so just let me know what works for your and I'll schedule accordingly.
All the best,
Tom

Thomas,

First, thank you for your service. You indicate the "greater Seattle area" which we have found for many people to cover the entire state of Washington. We live 70 miles north of Seattle and we love it in the northwest! I am still practicing HR consulting on a part time basis and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you. Pro bono only. I have done quite a lot of career coaching and assisting in career transitions so perhaps I could offer some advise in your own transition. Also fyi, I served in the Army and spent a year in Vietnam. If interested, please reply with some times when you can be available for an introductory telephone conversation and the best number to reach you. John Guettler
