You can consider employment with your State Investigation Bureau. There are positions for intelligence analysts, communications operators, and other jobs that do not require certifications or expensive degrees and can be an entry to employment. These are usually non-sworn civilian positions which do not require POST certification. Many states give veterans preference when hiring.

Hannah, there is a lot you can do with the All-Source Intel Analyst background but you need to plan to pursue education & certs to add to your experience. If you expect to use your experience alone, with no additional education or certs, then your options outside of the govt/intel field are going to be extremely limited. I was an Intelligence Officer myself but added an MBA and IT certs in order to transition into IT Management.

Ms. Akin, I frequently recommend veterans review their previous experience and translate it from militatry-speak to generic descriptions. As a hiring manager, I often struggled to understand veteran resumes filled with military terms and especially acronyms. If you want to stay close to your past experience I assume their would be opportunities with military contractors like Northrop Grumman. Sorry this isn't much help. Good luck!

I am guessing you are currently at Ft. Drum. Ft. Drum is Siberia with a McDonalds. I did training there when the barracks were heated with coal. Contact me if you want to try a Telecom for employment. Your MOS might be a good fit for Comcast or Verizon.
