I want to franchise to be able to support my non profit and by maximizing my business it can be risky but I feel it's worth it.

Anthony,
I like the model of having a for-profit support a non-profit. What is it you are wanting to franchise? It is an existing business with a track record? As Michael stated, it can take a lot of time effort and money to franchise. I would assume it is an ongoing effort to keep that rolling profitably too.

Is your heart in the franchise or the non-profit? Would you have time to pursue both? Do you have a team to help with this?

I realize this is more questions than answers. But it can be difficult to give solid answers not having some background info.

If I can be of help, feel free to reach out thru the link below. Good luck.

There is a lot of risk with franchising, not to mention a number of legal matters that can dictate what you can and cannot offer. We franchised our business back in 2010, it took us several years to properly develop the system of support that goes into being a franchisor. We sought professionals to ensure we had a solid system in place. Many articles out there that are helpful. Ultimately we worked with the iFranchise Group out of Homewood, Illinois.

You must be outgoing, willing to speak publicly, fearless to work hard, and have enough integrity to NOT connect everyone-only those who share your high values and excellence. We are growing fast.
