Any mentors with experience or an interest in Anthropology/Archaeology

I am in search of a mentor for a veteran located in the Colorado Springs/Denver, CO area who is currently attending school for Anthropology/Archaeology. He will graduate with his AA in Dec. 2015 and then continue on with a Bachelors in Archaeology.

Hello Samantha,
This is a long shot, but many years ago I was stationed at an Air Force weapons range in Gila Bend, Arizona. The University of Arizona at Tucson would come out the the range on a regular basis anytime we would do a periodic clean up and rehab on the munitions impact areas. there were several sites they could access out of harm's way. You may find someone in thier Archaeology department that has a favorable impression of the military through thier Gila Bend digs. Like I said, a long shot. You have probably though of these potential sources as well, state archaeology depatments and contractors who survey land prior to construction, etc. Good luck and thanks for caring !
