We are entering a new business venture in the DFW area. The market research that we have conducted has not provided us any definitive answers on pricing data. Does anyone know the average price per load? If not, can you provide additional resources? So far, none of the research we've done provides the information and business owners with websites do not list their rates. Thanks in advance!

In your local area and understanding the economies of scale you are looking is always local, have you called a Dump Truck Service and asked them for pricing? Not, necessarily, as a competitor rather as a research project.
Call some trucking companies and ask their rates. They should include fuel cost(based on distance), operator cost, insurance, truck payment allocation, profit percent per load.
