Hi Richard,
Thanks for your service! I am a former Marine turned professional Head Hunter. I would be pleased to help tailor your resume to civilian jobs based on what I have seen in the market and to thank you for 23 yearsa of service! I could only get through 5 and I was ready to hang up my boots and utes. I love veterans and the cause we all served. I also have connections in all states and can get you in touch with the appropriate people for job searches.

Thanks again,
Jacqueline Wade

Hi Richard,

Thank you for serving our country! You might want to check out the ACP Mentoring Program! Our Mentorship program pairs you with a Corporate Mentor in your career field for a year-long, one-on-one mentorship to help you build a resume, prepare for interviews, network with professionals, and gain valuable advice from someone who's already in the field.

You can find more information about the program and it's requirements on our website: http://acp-usa.org/Mentoring_Program

Please let us know if you have any more questions, or would like to know more about the mentoring program!

All the best,

There are several experts on resume writing right here at this website! I recently noticed one of the veterans named Ms. Christianah Adesida offering her expertise. There may be several others too.

Hello Richard-

If possible, keep it to 1 page in length. Put your objective at the top. Keep it succinct and phrase it in 3rd person. For example, don't put, "I spent the majority of my career doing....", write instead "Spent fours years doing...". List all of your education with dates and don't leave blank spots in the date ranges. Don't send the same resume out to every source if possible. Modify the resume to highlight what you've done compared to the job to which you are applying.
