Have been out of the military sector for 10 years. Worked for Verizon for the past 7, and was work completed. I am finding it hard to re-write my resume. It seems like any position that I apply for I never hear anything back. So I am wondering if it is something wrong with my resume.

Thank you for your service. Just to add my 2 cents:
- rejection letters are a lost art, don't take it personally. Many employers no longer send them
- get on "linkedin" https://www.linkedin.com/ the Facebook of the professional world
- find a contact in your target company. An internal referral is far more powerful than a good cover letter.
