About the job
The Demand Planner will provide timely and accurate forecasts as a key part of the S&OP process by brand, pack group and sales division monthly basis for other departments. They will ensure the correct use of forecast consumption models, innovation planning, and provide accurate input for the forecast alignment process in terms of Baseline forecast, Marketing event impact and Trade Events intelligence working with the Sales and Marketing teams.

The base compensation range for this position is $71-99K based on experience. Responsibilities:
Use of syndicated data and forecasting models to build customer/brand forecasts
Analyze and adjust forecast based on category/product trends along with changes in marketing and sales plans.
Active leader and participation on the S&OP forecast process, responsible for building and aligning 18 month forecast by brand/product group based on sales and marketing plan input
Align with field sales planning and marketing on forecast updates and drivers on rolling 18 month
Develop and analyze short term forecast and promotional volume in APO (Demand Planning Tool) utilizing POS trends, promotional plans, marketing plans, and customer inventory levels
Maintain scorecard data to monitor and optimize forecast performance on an on-going basis.
Analyze the short term/long term forecast vs. actual, by promotion, UPC and major customer through report development, preparation and review.
Responsible for the accuracy of S&OP forecast brand, sales division, pack group by month
Manage supply chain forecast from a demand planning perspective and give proactive feedback to the S&OP team.
Develop projects to improve the Demand Planning organization and efficiency.

About you:
You will have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance
You have 4+ years of Demand Planning experience or relevant work experience.
You have expertise in Demand Planning software (SAP APO application experience preferred)
You have experience in the CPG industry with a specific emphasis on Planning or Supply Chain functions preferred
You have superior MS Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point skills
You have expertise using Syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen, Retail Link)
You have superior analytical skills
You have the ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts
You have the ability to work independently
You have the ability to work both on short term and long-term planning
You have experience in work with cross functional teams
You have solid presentation and communication skills
